Welcome to my Help Save Cloe Blog

I met Cloe when she was 3 months old, my mother and I had a day care and she was our first baby. Cloe is 5 years old now and I have been raising her since. Cloe's parents got divorced and the dad was not in her life for 2 or 3 years, her mom got addicted to drugs and My mom and I tried to support her while she got better, but her mom ended up doing drugs again and being verbally, emotionally, and neglecting her. So her dad found out and took her to court and she lost custody. Her mom was only able to see her three times a week and only saw her at least 7 times. Its been over a year and we do not know anything about her mother. Her father is uneducated and has a history of drug and alcohol abuse. He treats her so bad, verbally, emotionally, and neglects her. Some examples are name calling such as boy, orphan, fat, dumb, stupid, etc.. Emotionally he makes her cry and then mimicking her crying and laughs at her, blames her for his mistakes, slaps her month when she is talking and being silly, tells her that not sharing, littering, and lying are OKAY. Told her that she should not hold a boy hands because she is going to get horny and get pregnant at 5 years old. Teases her with food, such as a candy, donuts or cookies and has her take one bite and then he eats the rest while she is crying, leaves her in the car crying while he goes to the store, he had her wearing her shoes that she peed on for a week, until I noticed her shoes and I told him and he started laughing and said, yea I knew but I did nothing. He is always telling her something negative and when he calls her he snaps his finger at her like if she was a dog. The list could go on forever. I had called CPS and they are not taking this case serious. I have raised her since she was 3 three months , more then a year ago she was staying with me every weekend, we have build a beautiful, healthy family with her and we love her and will do anything for her. She is part of our family , she loves us so much that she calls us mommy, daddy and my son Jacob, her baby brother, She even has her own room with us. We have spend every holiday, birthday or family events with her. We treat her the same way we treat our son, with love, respect, care, compassion, fairness. She told me that her wish was to live with us forever. Please make her wish and our wish come true.
